AZ82 at Copperstate

Mark and Brenda Brown meet with booth visitor

Mogollon Airpark was well represented at the 2019 Copperstate Fly-In & Expo. This year the event moved from Falcon Field in Mesa to the Buckeye Municipal Airport (KBXK) and was put on in conjunction with the Buckeye Air Fair.

In addition to the aircraft static displays and aviation vendors, there were numerous other vendors on the grounds, lots of good eats, and a daily aerobatic air show. There were also many workshops/presentations on a variety of topics, including FAA Wings seminars.

Craig Albright explains airpark layout and highlights available properties

Friday and Saturday were overcast and a bit on the chilly side, but Sunday brought clear blue skies, warm temps, and made for the perfect day.

Thank you to all the airpark residents who took the time to help staff the booth and be ambassadors for Mogollon Airpark. Also, a big thank you goes out to Mike and Diane Christensen for organizing the airpark’s presence at the event and making AZ82 shine!
