If you have been reading the minutes of our monthly Board meetings, you are probably aware that we have been working to both formalize and publicize policies and procedures for the airpark. In the past, policies tended to be ad hoc motions captured (and documented) in the meeting minutes. Of course, this approach to airpark management wound up creating some serious challenges regarding both administrative continuity and communication with new property owners. While the acceptance process remains the same (i.e., motions passed at public Board meetings), the Board has recently created formal documentation and control standards for policies and procedures. And, it is in the process of building upon existing policies/procedures to create a cohesive set that will support more effective airpark management. All such documents will be posted on our airpark website in a structured manner for easy access by any property owner.
